Writing the Small Moments
I’m drawn to quiet moments—a glance, a pause, a simple conversation. These small scenes take time, but they often hold the deepest truths in a story.

I’ve always been drawn to the smaller moments—the ones that might seem insignificant at first glance. A conversation in the kitchen. A glance that lingers a second too long. The sound of someone leaving a room.
These are the moments I return to again and again. Because they’re real. They’re the ones we carry with us, often without realizing it. Writing them requires patience. You can’t rush something that is meant to feel natural and unforced.
Sometimes I spend hours on a single paragraph, trying to get the rhythm just right. Not because the moment is big, but because it’s honest. And honesty, I’ve learned, takes time.
In the end, those quiet scenes often become the ones readers remember most. And that, to me, is where the magic lives.
